Our Public Family Fun Day Event is held every year in April.
About the event
The Guardians of the Children (GOC) local Rio Grande Chapter is hosting our 2026 Family Fun Day on Saturday, April 25th, 2026, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. We schedule this event in April every year, as April is Child Abuse Awareness Month. This event will be held at the New Mexico Veterans’ Memorial, located at 1100 Louisiana Blvd. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. Everyone eats free, all children will receive a toy/prize from the prize table, and all children will be entered to win a bicycle/scooter.
Visitors to the event will have the opportunity to visit the Memorial Park visitors center.

Guardians of the Children Rio Grande Chapter is a nonprofit motorcycle organization dedicated to empowering abused children and supporting families in crisis. Our mission is to provide protection, advocacy, and hope to those who need it most.
We stand as a shield for children, offering court support, safe events, and unwavering encouragement to help them regain their strength and confidence. Our group is 100% volunteer-run, united by a passion for child advocacy and a commitment to making a difference.
